The Club

Henlow Flying Club was established in 1991 by Andrew Wilkins. Andrew is a commercial pilot with a well known charter airline and is currently flying the Airbus A320. He is often to be found at the club imparting his wealth of knowledge and experience to students and qualified pilots alike.

The club is the only civillian flying club on the airfield at RAF Henlow and is managed by Joe Wright, a very experienced and enthusiastic pilot/Instructor, Joe is always pleased to offer every assistance to students and club members.

At Henlow Flying Club we are able to offer the unrivalled benefits of three large runways and a very favourable training environment. The club operates from the airfield Control Tower, a listed building dating back to the 2nd World War. The club is a 'Club' in the true sense of the word with a very freindly membership and has an active social scene including barbecues, airbourne treasure hunts, pub nights, karting evenings and much more !
